ABOUT
Ditte Krøyers work evolves through the form of performance, sculpture, collage and music. The themes of Krøyer’s work primarily stems from punk, climate justice and the sugar industry and spiritual landscapes of her birth island Lolland. With her own body, voice and personal background, she expresses existential grief, shame and mortality.
Krøyer (b. 1990 Nakskov, Denmark) has studied at the Master of Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and holds a Bachelor in Fine Art with Honours from the department of Sculpture and Environmental Art at the Glasgow School of Art, Scotland. Krøyer is now based in Copenhagen and works in her studio at Thoravej 29 in Copenhagen.
